About the Richard Show
The Richard Show was launched by Richard Hall in May 2005. The Richard Show is a semi-weekly, semi-comedic, semi-personal video blog about Richard and his wife, Maureen. It tends to focus on Video Blogging, the Ozarks, and Richard. Although it is mainly just an outlet for creativity and general silliness, the show has received some level of internet recognition:
- Featured on Rocketboom
- Listed in Wired Magazine’s edition on favorite vlogs.
- Blogged in the Missouri University of Science and Technology’s Visions Blog.
- The show won a vloggie for it’s part in the collaboration – node666
- An article on Net Neutrality in the St. Louis Post Dispatch, and Re-posted at Free press, featured Richard’s video on net neutrality
- A Richard Show video, camera dancing, was selected for presentation at the Pixelodean festival in Los Angeles
- Three of my videos from the Left in the Ozarks Project, were nominated for best video of the year, by the Citizen Journalist Site, the Uptake. In particular, the series was cited as “The Best Story Telling in a Video“. The videos nominated were:
