One of my favorite new video blogs, Mahalo Daily, created some short entertaining videos “summarizing” the January 31 Republican and Democratic debates.

Both of them were funny videos!!! We need a lip reader I suppose!!! There are other interesting videos as well…like ‘how to plan a cheap date’, ’state of the union address in 60 seconds’, photo tips with Thomas Hawk’ and so on…….
The videos are professional looking and high quality. It would be really great if she could change the layout of the website as it quite confusing to go around. The ‘previous’ and the ‘next’ buttons are in an awkward position. They would perfectly suit in the top left and right position (somewhere near the storyline or video). Overall, a good entertainment site.

Veronica Belmont is awesome – I miss her from Buzz Out Loud, but haven’t really followed her since she moved to Mahalo. The cool thing about these videos I think is that it cuts all the BS right down to ‘what is the strategy’ that night and I think in both cases nailed it. As far as I’m concerned – Ron Paul won the Repub debate with his low score.
I do have to say that for all the promise that Calicanis pumped Mahalo search with I’ve found it to be severely lacking in general usefulness.

I did find the overall layout/navigation of the mahalo.com site to be a bit cumbersome although the videos make up for any frustration.

Counting how many times one says Ronald Reagan and establishing a love affair between Obama and Clinton seems a little rediculous. Neither clip had anything useful regarding the actual debates. The clips look like ordinary web junk.
